No. You need to create a virtual machine in VirtualPC and install your desired operating system. The hardware in a vm is emulated and has nothing to do with the actual hardware in your system. Even if you could somehow create a vhd out of your current XP OS, it would not boot because of the difference in (emulated) hardware.
