Since your Win2K is probably in a folder named
"WINNT", the 2nd entry should instead be:
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINNT=
"Microsoft Windows 2000" /fastdetect

You are correct about the installation process. Would you
instruct me on how to edit Boot.INI in XP please.
Just use Notepad as you would edit any other .txt file.
