As the title says, the thumbnail view is not sticking after I choose it for a folder view. It immediately changes back to "Detail" view, like all of my other folders, when I go to another folder and then back again or if I exit explorer and then go back into explorer.

I have tried every trick, suggestion and registry hack that I could find on the internet with no success. This is a new install of XP with SP2 and all of the updates and patches.

Anybody know of a "surefire" cure?

Thanks in advance.
