HELP!! I've done a terrible, terrible thing. I downloaded the trial
version of one of the Office 2007 programs. I thought it would
download, but NOT REPLACE my Office 2003 that was installed by Dell
when I purchased this computer last June. I'm a novice--I hope this
helps to explain my computer illeteracy. #1-I don't need the 2007
version as I'm still trying to figure out how to use the 2003
version! #2-I can't afford the 2007 as I'm 68 and on a very low fixed
income. Can someone please get my Office 2003 back on my computer???
Contact Dell or check the documentation that came with your computer. There
should be a restore partition on your computer to get you back to the
original installation - or parts of the original condition.
Contact Microsoft and fuss like the third monkey on Noah's gangplank. Their
"trial" evidently destroyed viable software on your computer and that's not
right.
Failing all else, MS Office 2003 is available, in various incarnations, on
Ebay for around $200.00.
