up unti last night my XP user accounts worked

now when i start my pc up it comes up with an XP box with my name in it
and waiting for a password, at this point i just press the return key,
however i have no user accounts visable even though i have them setup
it is just not recognizing them.

I went to get rid of this start up screen and go back to where i had my
three user accounts and i chose which one to log into.

Install "TweakUI" from an administrative account.

TweakUI > Logon. Select the user accounts shown on Welcome screen. Scan
the system for malware ASAP if this problem came out of the blue.
