Use System Restore to a point prior to unleashing the Registry Cleaner.
Most of these damn things have a Backup provision in the form of .Reg
modules you can recover/import to undo their changes. Check the app
for any type of "Undo/Recovery" option and use it before uninstalling the
Registry Cleaner from your PC.
If you get your system recovered mark this down as a learning experience
about Registry Cleaning.
I have a DVD-RAM Drive that does DL DVD's etc. but after I used a registry
cleaner I think it removed its type as now it says its a CD Drive although
it
still plays movies but in Windows Media Player wont let me burn music to a
CD-R disc which it should.
I can retrieve the old entry from my registry if you can tell me where
abouts it is or if not how I can fix it.
P.S. I have tried using device manager to remove and and re-install it and
it dosent work.
