| Hi,
|
| I recently had to reformat my drive and in my last installation of Xp Pro
I
| managed to get windows 2000 style file permissions on my folders. What I
| mean is boxes that you can tick for all the permissions, with columns for
| users and administrators and the system, rather than the default XP
"share
| this folder" tick box. I cant for the life of me remember what I did to
get
| this. I think it may have something to do with disabling a service but
| which one I dont know. Does anyone out there know how I managed to get
| these file permissons?
|
| Thanks,
|
| Jake
