I am using WinXP Pro. When I open what I think is called the file menu by right-clicking on a folder in Windows Explorer I see four choices for Archiving using RAR. I used to have Windows Zip with the Zippered folder icon. At some point I think I opened an RAR file and was prompted to download and install RAR. I don't really know how these things work. Anyway, I would like to restore my original Zipper program and disable or uninstall RAR. How do I do that?
Click Start, Run and type this command then click OK:
cmd /c assoc .zip=CompressedFolder
Good Luck, Ayush.
