Unlike you and I, others aren't hesitating giving advice. Especially the use of the current removal tool from Symantec. They're gambling on the probability the NAV version is new enough for the tool. What's at risk if run and its not is unknown to me. I won't risk it.
I wasn't really hesitating, I have "All" of the Removal tools available on my site. At the moment they're on 3 separate pages and if the OP would have posted back which app/ver was the issue, I would have provided one link instead of three to keep away from any confusion. By the time I rolled back around others had already provided information so I spit the hook and continued on my way.
The (2) they have out now, that's right, I said (2), remove any/all/every Symantec/Norton application distributed since 2003, and I really mean "any/all" application that is installed. Their idiotic boneheaded programmers can't even figure out a simple uninstall that will only remove a single application instead of the entire line and they haven't even learned how to get that correct, it's been that way since 2003, SHEEESH!!
