Then there's another issue - some printers don't even do DOS. They don't
have the software built in, and rely completely on Windows to generate the
data stream used to generate the print. For instance, the Brother HL2040
(non network version) will not print from DOS no matter what.
true. For printing from DOS to these Windows-Only (AKA GDI) printers, you
may want to have a look at Printfil.
