If I leave for an extended period, XP seems to be logging me out of
Network and only my local drive works. Since I acces away from
office using Citix "GoToMyPC", this loggin out of the netwrk causes a
probem, because I can not reboot away. Is there a switch that is
causing this to log off of the netwrk?
If you were truly being logged out. you'd have to log back in. Instead, it
sounds like your network drives are being disconnected. Do you see them in
My Computer/Windows Explorer, showing up as disconnected? If you don't, can
you not re-map them? (use a batch file / login script to make this easier).
If you're in a domain environment and stay logged in all the time, you might
talk to the IT folks who manage the network to see what they've got in
place. You ought to be able to use GoToMyPC without staying logged in - that
stuff can run as a service on the "host" computer quite happily.
