Re: Scheduler question

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

This appears to be a question for Windows Defender (about which
I know nothing) rather than about the Task Scheduler. I recommend
you post again and put "Windows Defender" into the Subject line.

Thanks Pegasus. I "check" the box for "Wake computer". When I reboot I
must
"check" the box because it is blank each time. There must be a way to
avoid
this.

My OS is XP Pro SP2. Defender is scheduled with the Windows
Scheduler. I
scan early morning when the computer is not in use. I use "Wake
computer
to
run this task" to wake the computer from standby. Every time I reboot
I
must
reapply this command as it is turned off. Is there any way to prevent
this?
Thank you.

Which command? What exactly to you mean when you say "reapply
this command" and "it is turned off"?
