This appears to be a question for Windows Defender (about which
I know nothing) rather than about the Task Scheduler. I recommend
you post again and put "Windows Defender" into the Subject line.

My OS is XP Pro SP2. Defender is scheduled with the Windows
computerscan early morning when the computer is not in use. I use "Wake
Ito
run this task" to wake the computer from standby. Every time I reboot
must
reapply this command as it is turned off. Is there any way to preventthis?
Thank you.
Which command? What exactly to you mean when you say "reapply
this command" and "it is turned off"?
.
