Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Hello,

Most likely you placed it in the Startup folder.

You can also try running MSCONFIG from Start > Run and locating the startup
entry there. Uncheck it and restart your PC.

I have been using Outlook Explorer on XP Professional. A long time ago, I
set up a shortcut in some directory to get this program to load upon
starting
up my system. Now I would like to take it out of the auto load mode, but
I
forgot how to do it. I still want to use the program, but I want to
choose
it manually after my system has been turned on and is ready. I am sure
that
I must have some other auto loaded programs slowing up the performance of
my
system, but I can't remember where to look for these shortcuts. I don't
think it is in my startup folder. I get the two functions confused. Any
help
would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
