Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

If not resident in add/remove programs area, sometimes, an errant 3rd party
program can be removed by installing again, then removing normally after a
reboot.

I was unable to uninstall two programs that for some reason got corrupted.
I was unable to change on properties the "read only" status. I tried
several times to uncheck this selection, but after using applying and then
the OK button, it reverts back to "read Only" therefore, still can not
remove
the old files to reinstall the programs.

PS
My Restore Feature, has been turned off for a long time.
