I am working on WinXP Pro (SP2) & use a (8-year old) 14" Samsung
monitor.
When I tried to change the screen resolution (by going to Control
Panel-->Display & then selecting the 'Setting' tab) from the currently
set 800X600 to 1024X768, then I find that the screen resolution
automatically reverts back to 800X600!
Why is this happening & how do I change the screen resolution to
1024X768?
