Its part of your motherboard chipset drivers, obtainable from your mobo
site, or manu site if a Laptop or large OEM eg Dell/HP etc
You havent purchance been using win update for drivers? if you have try
rolling back the driver
Never obtain drivers from winupdate.

Every time I start Windows XP I am asked to install a Mass StorageController
via the Add New Hardware Wizard, but the system cannot find the driverson
my computer or the net. I then get a "(Code 39)" message "Windows cannotload
the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted ormissing.
know
I have uninstalled via Device Manager etc but to no avail. I d not even
what a Mass Storage Controlleris, and I am not plugging anything into myUSB
ports etc.
Any ideas?
