Apache it not that easy to install as PWS is. Besides PWS used to come with
ealier Windows versions like 98 and 2000. So there is nothing functionally
like PWS in XP-Home?

You can run Apache and use PHP.
Perhaps the easiest method is to use WAMP (Windows, Apache, MySql, PHP)
