What situation? You haven't quoted any of the message to which you refer so some (many) folks may not know what you mean. This is actually a Usenet newsgroup, and many use a newsreader to access it, and only download the recent messages so the previous messages in the thread are not visible.

When referring to or replying to a previous post it's best to quote a least a part of the message to keep the context.
