How to print from a .prn file

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hello everyone,
Does anyone know how to print from a .prn file?
I saved an inline document to a prn file from Internet explorer 6.0.
Now I want to print it. I think it could be done years ago in DOS.
Using Win XP SP1
Printing to the same printer as I saved it in (menu). My printer was not
working at that moment
so I saved it to file (.prn).
Any help most gratefully accepted.
Thanks.
