Re: Application Removal Program

I would open up the task manager with the error message still on screen and
select the processes tab. Then, start killing off suspect processes until
you kill the one that makes the error message go away. Find the location of
the 'exe' file for the process you killed and you should have a clue to
which uninstall failed. You can also check the properties of the 'exe' file
and see if the program name is on the version tab.

Every startup produces the following message;
The Application removal program may only be run from either the program
manager icon (Windows NT) or from Control Panel Add/Remove programs applet
(Windows 95).

Is there any way to find out what program was uninstalled incorrectly.
This
has been ongoing for a couple of months. To the best of my knowledge,
whatever program I uninstalled was in fact done via Add/Remove.

Thanks
