Error when I download Updates into "Paperport 11"

When I try to download updates into "Paperport 11" I get an error message
that says:

"Your current brouser Security Setting prevents the proper operationn of
Update Service. Update Service relies on Active X controls and Active
Scripting which are enabled under the default browser security settings."

Whats going on? How do I deal with it?
