Re: Windows XP PRO and troubles

Dear JBrunelle
I tried to make a jpg of the said pages. I know now that this program do not
accept attachements. So here is what I could copy from the "event
viewer'\application\system.

SYSTEM:

ITEM SOURCE
Warning MrxSmb
(Many of those)
Warning TCPIP
"
Error DHCP
Few only
Error Service control
manager Some only
Error System error
category Category 102
=======================================================================
APPLICATION:
Error Event system
Category 50 Event 4609 (many more)
Error Perfnet
" 2004 "
Warning Userenv
" 1517 "
Error Application error
" 1000 "

Hope it provide something to hold on to.
Thank you

Check your event viewer, right click my computer... manage... event
viewer. Check the system and application logs, and post the errors
here for more help.

Hello MVP

I run a quality and fast computer with Windows XP Pro that work fast and
efficient but lately it developed a problem I have no solution for.
It is when I go to shut down the machine I get three notices. The first
says: <dwwin.exe DLL initialization failed> The second notice that
ride
on top of the first says: <Instructions at 05ad71531 referenced memory
at
0x00000014 could not be read>
And the third notice that ride on both two others says: < Windows can
not
close this program>

I must close each notice separately for the computer to close.

I have all the protection in the world, I am sure it is not a virus, I
do
not install any shareware ever. The only ones who install anything to
this
machine are: A) Microsoft who load updates on my machine, B) Symantec
who
update their program almost daily, and 3) Adobe PDF who keep loading
updates
with activex, I try to stop them but can't, so I remove them later.

So where these three notice originate from ? I will be grateful for an
advice and help
