I think I have a little insight into the Sample End Task Problem.
I worked today with my district technologist because I was having the
same problem on my laptop. He started shutting down each individual
process and found a couple of files that began with QC. I remember one
was QCWilson but both happened to be connected with the McAfee Antivirus
software. He shut down the files and turned off the computer. The
Sample End Task box didn't pop up. He then uninstalled McAfee and
re-installed it and now I don't have that problem anymore. The
computer shuts down properly.
