Only once I unticked the option: "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)" could I see a display of cookies and other files. Whenever I want to browse the folder in future, I will then simply untick, do what I need to do and then tick the option again. I am the only user of my PC. Thanks for your efforts in assisting me.
To make the visible in explorer, Click Start > Run :
attrib -s -h "PathOfFolder"
for example :
attrib -s -h "C:\Documents and settings\Ayush\Cookies"
--
→ Ayush
