The download "bell" is indicative of your use of a download manager. Windows
XP does not have a bell sound by default, nor does XP sound an alarm, or any
sound, when a download is complete.

I have IE7, XP sp2, and i can't for the life in me figure out how to turn
off
the "bell" sound the computer makes when it signifies that a file download
is
complete.
Also, is there a way to stop XP from asking me where i want to save a file
every time i download one? Can't i send them all into the same place
automatically?
Thanks much for your input.
