Re: Windows start up error message re Setup32.exe

Thanks for this. Unfortunately, there is no run once folder on the system
that I can see.

Cheers.

Thanks for this. I have removed the ticks from various boxes for components I
have not recognised, but I still get the error message on startup. I presume
that I should be ignoring any Microsoft details and concentrating on other
manufacturer`s items?

Thanks for your continued efforts to help me resolve the problem.

Cheers.

Thanks for this as well. This is the answer I obtained when attempting to
open the string you advised - "We’re sorry, but we were unable to service
your request. You may wish to choose from the links below for information
about Microsoft products and services."

Unfortunately, I am not so computer literate as many, and I am at a
complete
loss how to proceed.

Cheers.

Thanks, for this.

I get the same message in Safe Mode. Any further ideas?

Cheers.

When turning on computer a setup window pops up everytime that

It has been driving me mad for three years! My New Year's resolution

get it sorted.
Google advanced search shows previous questions on the same subject,

am unable to access the responses. Can anyone help, please?
You have a high tolerance for going mad. Hopefully you haven't used
it
all
up, eh?

Does it happen if you boot into safe mode? If not do some clean boot
troubleshooting to see what is loading at startup that's invoking this
message.

Yes, sorry seems that link is no longer any good. Try running Autoruns from
here. Maybe it can give you an idea what's triggering this to run.

Run regedit, press Home key to get to the start, press F3 and do a Find
for runonce. See if there are any programs in any Runonce folder. If
so, delete the entry and see if that helps. Press F3 to continue the
search.
