I was running a bad version of Windows XP on my old PC so I bought a copy of
"Windows Genuine Advantage Kit for Windows XP Professional" from a local PC
store.
That machine broke down after years of use, absolutely nothing to do wit
this issue.
Now I have built a new machine and discontinued use of the old one.
When I try to install to the new machine it asks for a product key which I
never had.
On the case there is a Microsoft barcode sticker and on there it says "Media
Set CD Windows XPPro Genuine Adv English No Key"
I have never had a key.
To get around this so that I can attempt to fix it I have installed the old
copy of Windows XP so I can at least get connected to start to look for a
clue to why this is happening.
Any ideas.
