Re: Application Safe Mode vs. Normal Mode
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
Did you check the vendor's website for patches/fixes & updates. It's
almost a given that any software to be installed is dated and likely has
an update available. Also many companies still provide user forums to
get help from other users who may already have encountered the same
issue or know of a workaround.

I have a client with an XP Pro HP DC5100 system that is trying to run
Toshiba
Phone Manager program, Stratagy Enterprise Admin. After an inital
installation, the program works fine until a restart, then gets an error,
Send/Don't Send. I am able to restart the pc in Safe Mode and lauch the
program. I've booted normal, an minimal drivers via msconfig. In either
case
the app still fails after a restart. I can start in minimal via msconfig
and
kill processes to match those running in Safe Mode but app still fails.
Any
help appreciated.
Thanks ~ Steve B.
