Hi
Have been looking at my system config in relation to RAM
I am running 1250MB of RDRAM across the four slots.
In slots 1+2 i have 128MB modules and in 3+4 I have 512MB modules.
Is this OK or should the bigger ones be in Slots 1+2?
I don't think it makes a difference. You should go to www.dell.com and
download the manual for your computer, it will tell you in there all
about how to insert RAM.
FWIW, my Dell has the four slots organized into two banks. Two slots
have black connectors, two have white connectors, matching color
connectors define a bank. The two slots in a bank have to have
matching RAM sticks.
