Hi. I have a desktop PC and a laptop computer both running XP Home that
I'd
like to set up to share files and printer.
They currently both connect to the internet via a modem-router, I was told
by the providers that I'd be able to use that to allow the computers to
communicate.
Here is my physical set-up:
Laptop )) Modem-Router (( Desktop -- Printer
)) Wireless Connection
-- USB Connection
How would I go about connecting these in a network? I am having problems
as
everything is done wirelessly, and when I attempt to run the wireless
network
setup, I am told to plug in the flash drive the info is saved on into my
router, there is no plug for me to do this.
Thanks in advance
When you run the New Network Wizard, at the end, just select the option to
"Finish - I don't need to do anything else" (or words to that effect) on
each machine.
