My machine refuses to save log in and password information for a number of
sites. I have added the sites under the User Accounts manage passwords
option. I have specifically allowed cookies for the sites in IE. I have
selected the option to "remember me on this computer" (or its alternatives)
on the sites themselves. I have even tried logging on to those sites with
all my security apps and my Windows firewall disabled. All to no avail. I
return to the sites and it is as though I am a first time user and have done
none of the above. What am I overlooking? This is just a convenience issue,
but a very annoying one. Any help out there?
First guess is your running a malware detection program, and one of
it's duties is to clear the cookies.
