Use the Replace command:
replace c:\excelfile.xls c:\ /s

Hi folks,
I know this seems like an obvious one, but I'm having a bit of trouble. I am trying to replace an excel file in 643 different folders. These two excel files both have the same name. I have tried to do this individually. I click on the folder I want to put the file in, press ctrl+v to paste, and it asks me if I want to replace the existing file and I say yes. This works one or two times, and then it stops working and the old file is still in the file with no new file. I'm looking for a way I can replace all of these at once. Is there a way to do this? Thanks
