Re: Question about ghosting/cloning XP on BartPE?

Yes, my BARTPE has ghost included. It comes with it when you use PE
Builder to make it.

One thing about the newsgroups - you can count on "information" - some true,
some not too true and some not at all true. BartPE in it's native form does
not provide for "ghosting" unless in the creation of the CD provisions for
"ghosting" were added.

Transferring an "image" from one computer to another may at best be
problematic - risk is up to the riskee (any such word?)

I want to ghost a Dell laptop hard drive running XP to a Dell desktop
hard drive using BartPE. Is this possible eventhough these are two
different hardware? I know you can clone hard drives from the same type
of machines to another, but not sure about this. Thanks.
