Typing bleed-through on computer

A friend of mine is networked (home) with his wife and it seems like a
lot of the time if he types something on his computer upstairs it will
come through on her computer in an open line in her internet explorer
i.e. google or address line.
This is really weird ...
Anyone have any idea??
