Hope someone can help.
I have a Toshiba A-105 laptop running winxp home with SP2.
Every time I start the computer it tries to install a printer.
It doesn't say what printer it wants to install. I have let the
wizard run all the way threw and checked do not prompt to
install again but it dose. I have tried the Microsoft KB and it
says to remove a registry key but that key is not in the
registry. Any Help will be welcomed. Paul
I had that problem a while back. I downloaded the latest printer
driver from the manufacturer's web site and the problem went away.
You'll need to establish what printer it wants to install in order
to try this cure. How about unplugging your printer and trying a
re-boot. If the problem doesn't occur, you can be fairly certain
THAT was the printer in question!
