if you boot the computer up in safe mode and log on as Administrator
you can reset you password in control panel/ user accounts
Tom, safe mode is only needed for XP Home to get to the Administrator
account. For XP Pro at the Welcome Screen do ctrl-alt-del twice to get the
login box, type Administrator as the user name and then the password.
