Re: Right side taskbar icons not hiding anymore

Remove the 123 from my munged E-mail address.

An Advanced Google Groups search brings up 761 posts by you and you're still
using X-Newsreader: Microsoft CDO for Windows 2000.

Microsoft CDO for Windows 2000 is akin to bear skins and stone knives.

Do yourself a favor and setup a real newsreader.

Outlook Express came free with XP.

You will later wonder why you didn't setup OE as your newsreader sooner.

First of all, thanks a lot for your nice response. I notice that you
always give a complete detail even a small bugs.

Regarding my web-site, once again a lot of thanks on your suggestions.
However, I am just testing the site and it is still under constructions.
After reading the thread posted by "missv_123", I was thinking about
creating a video so the visitor can understand what he/she has to do
regarding the problem.

As you mention, I will soon set all the instructions to Download a Flash
Player and using the .Reg files.

One more thing, should we discuss all those things here is there
alternative where I should contact you. I have a list of questions to ask
about regarding my web-site and how can improve it as well some other
questions too.

Rajiv,

A comment about the .reg files, the instructions are a little vague. How
would I know what to with any of them? Double click the files after
downloading them? Or Right click them and select Merge? What if a
warning pops up? Should I click Yes or No?

Maybe the videos show all of that. :-)

It probably takes more work to keep up a web page then it does to come of
with the fixes. ;-)

I do not have nor want flash player.

So to answer your question, no I haven't watched it.

BTW, View | Source @
http://www.mindurbrain.zippyfreehost.com/index.htm And there was no
offer to install it for me. :-)

fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab
or
hXXp://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer
which now resolves to

hXXp://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=Shockwa
veFlash

hXXp://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer
also resolves to

hXXp://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=Shockwa
veFlash

I see this on a lot of web pages in View | Source:
hXXp://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab

That normally gets you the File Download popup for swflash.cab, the
install file for Flash. But I do not even get the offer any more. *eg*

The Flash Player is one of the most widely distributed POS on the
internet.

The icons on the right side by the clock are all showing all of a
sudden. The arrow that moves over them to hide them is gone. I have
the "hide taskbar icons" button checked. I haven't turned it off. I
haven't been able to do a successful system restore to get it back.
Any suggesions? Thank you very much in advance.
