Mind you, I'm not denying that some people have had problems or delays. There are always going to be some small number of issues when one combines new technologies, tempermental telephone lines, and human nature. I simply haven't come across enough verified problems to think that there's any widespread problem with telephone activation. I will say that I preferred, by far, the early process of actually speaking to a person over the current process of reading numbers to a voice-activated computer.
And that voice-activated computer never turns into a human being if, say, the computer can't understand you well?
