Yesterday, I was listening to music on my laptop through earphones,
when the sound cut out in my left ear. Thinking it was something
wrong with my earphones, I tried unplugging them and replugging
them into the sound jack. Eventually, the sound on my laptop cut
out entirely. Now, no sound works on my laptop at all, regardless
of whether speakers are plugged in, I adjust the volume, etc. I'm
assuming that there's a problem with the sound card but I was
wondering if you guys have any suggestions...
Uninstall sound card dxriver.
Download the latest from the manufacturer and install it.
If that fails - likely is a bad sound card.
