I am having difficulty formating my driver there are 2 partitions on the
drive when i try to delete the extended DOS partition it give me an error
"Cannot delete extended DOS partition while logical drives exits"
The problem is when i display logical drives it says "no logical drives
defined"
Please can someone help me sort this problem out i need to install windows
XP on the machine asap.

Fdisk cannot delete a logical partition if in NTFS format. Old MS KB
