I thought that since SP1 supported 48-bit and XP doesn't use the BIOS once
loaded, it shouldn't make any difference?

Try HD Tune, provides drive info one of which is if you are using 48 bitpartition
LBA.
http://www.hdtune.com/
If you are using 48 bit LBA then use Windows 'Disk Management' to
the remaining space.go
If your PC does not support 48 bit then you will need a PCI card and
associated drivers to connect your drive to get all the drive space.

I have an ASUS P4C DELUXE with BIOS ver. 1019.002 which is the LATEST
apart from the 1021 BETA that I dont want to install.
In Windows I can see the correct disk space of the hard drive.

In other words you need to find out what model your motherboard is and
disk,to
the manufacturers website and find a BIOS update for your motherboard.
Download it and follow the instructions to flash your BIOS. In many
cases
you will need a floppy drive to complete this so good luck... To help
find
the motherboard make and model download belarc advisor it will help you
in
your search.

Hello
I have slipstreamed SP2 in my copy of Windows XP Corporate.
I tried to install it on a new 300GB SATA Western Digital Hard
but during setup installation I can only see 137GB of my 300 GB.
I read that only copies of Windows with EnableBigLBA can see the
right
disk space.
This set was made from SP1, but I still can't see the correct disk
space.
How to fix it?
Thanks a lot
.
