Well I don't know what else to tell you. You could do a Google search for
NSIS error as I did, which is how I came up with that link, and look around
for any others that may be of help.

When did this error start, what changes were made right before this
happened? Have you disabled all the McAfee start ups and services to see if
they are causing it? What about safe mode - if booted into safe mode with
networking and open IE does it occur? What version of IE 6 or 7?

Well since "bluerabbit" and I are having the EXACT SAME problem, I will
answer this question, for myself anyway.

I'm using IE 6. I'm also using McAfee. Although I don't see what that
would have to do with anything, I still get the error message with
McAfee disabled.

I do NOT get the error in Safe Networking mode.



Then something is running in normal mode which is invoking the error. Do some clean boot troubleshooting.
