Re: Install Programs..

I tried to install a second program, AnyTime Organizer, and I noticed my firewall ask permission for "Auto Play Menu Studio 4.0" and for "Generic Host Process For Win32 Services" to access the internet. I select Yes but the computer is not currently hooked up to the internet.

Do I need XP to be connected to the internet to install some programs?

I working on a new install of XP Home Edition and when I install new programs they're not working. I took a look at the folder where they are installed and it's "read only" and I can change that but when I look again it's still "read only."

What am I doing wrong?
