If you purchase the same edition/version as your illicit copy, you should be able to use the _legitimate_ retail or OEM full license of WinXP to perform a repair (a.k.a. in-place upgrade) installation, using the new CDs and Product Keys. This should preserve your applications and data, but backup anything important, just in case.
