i am just trying to disable what i dont need it was taking my computer over
five min.
to shut down after i have disable 11 services it shuts down in less then 1
min.
dont know if disabling the services done it or something else.

Hi Larry,
Some say for a security issue, it could be exploited by melcious attackers
and some say for Performance issue.

It's not the number of services running that's causing a delay in shutdown. One of the services could be hanging up for some reason. The best way to investigate this is to do some clean boot troubleshooting.
