The Windows Explorer file menu on one of our computers has disappeared.
What
shows up instead is the Windows logo surrounded by white space. This
appears
above the explorer icons and folder display/entry areas. Right-clicking
and
double-clicking in that or any other area does nothing. I've tried to
track
down solutions on Google, especially any put out by Microsoft support, but
none (including those suggesting registry and policy-related changes) have
worked. The IE 7 file menu shows up and works just fine. It's only
Windows
Explorer that doesn't appear. I'm running Windows Professional XP SP2.
Any
help would certainly be appreciated.
