Is there not a link in the Firewall msg that indicates exactly what is
trying to connect?

Thanks DL.etc
I am sure that it's a new connection as I I hadn't done any re-installs,
of firewalls, etc.connection.

System may be a valid connection, it depends if the update reconfigured
something that leads your firewall to think its a completely new
askingeg I update my browser, next time I connect I get a Firewall warning
connectif I want to allow the connection.

Hi DL, thanks for your reply.'System'
My firewall is saying 'System' is trying to connect, so I know that
is trying to connect, but I don't want it to. I have already set myfirewall
to deny the connection everytime, however, sometimes it tries to
nowso
many times, that I am sure it slows my Internet down.Add/Remove,
In any case, does that mean that if the updates aren't listed in
then they are not uninstallable?website,

Hi.
I have installed a few security updates, etc from the Microsoft
however, since I installed the updates, a program called 'System'
somedownconstantly tries to connect to the Internet. This is slowing my pc
and I
want to remove all the updates which I downloaded, however, only
how doof
them
were listed in 'Add/Remove Programs', which I have removed, but
I
remove the others? Thank you.
