Yesterday I sent out an e-mail request for help. Is there not ONE
single person out there that can help me? My granddaughter sent me
some photos by e-mail and I can't save them. Read below please.
Something has changed, and I don't know how or why.
When I receive a photo in an e-mail, NOT as an attachment, in order to
save it I use to right click the photo, then click "Save Picture
As....", and I can save the photo. NOW, when I click "Save Picture
As....", I get a box that has Windows Internet Explorer on top in the
blue section, and had a yellow triangle with an exclamation point
inside. Then it says, "The system cannot find the file specified".
What happened, and how do I rectify it? I recently updated Windows
Internet Explorer 6, to 7.
There probably are plenty of people who can help you if you post in the
right newsgroups. Since you are using Outlook Express, I assume that is
the email client with the problem. I would post in the OE newsgroup and
also crosspost (*not* multipost - see link for explanation) to the IE7
newsgroup.
The IE7 newsgroup is:
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general
There are a huge number of posts so it would be smart to start by going
to Google Groups Advanced Search. Use a search term that describes your
problem, constrain the search to the IE7 newsgroup and the date to very
recently.
The OE newsgroup is:
microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general
An explanation of multi-vs.-crossposting:

And no, I'm sorry but I don't have your answer or I would tell you
now. ;-)
