Matthias,
I could use Google or Bablefish to translate from the German, but what you
have included seems to be missing some words. There doesn't seem to be
enough to go on.
The next time you get the error message, Click on the message to give it
focus, hit Ctrl + C to copy the error message and paste it into a message
and post back.
Sample of a copied error message...
---------------------------
msinfo
---------------------------
Windows cannot find 'msinfo'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and
then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click
Search.

OK

What are the error messages? This could be a clue.

Dear all,
we use Windows XP professional with SP 2 and all security fixes on our
clients. Some users want to write data onto the CD/DVD combo device.
Unfortunately they generate an error and are not able to write data CDs.
We checked the registry path:
CC-4481B_______________1.03____]
but these settings are the same as in working installations. The
imapi.exe File is always in Version 5.01.2600.2180. These errors occur
only in some cases and we don't know what's the reason of this
behaviour.
Does anybody have a solution for this problem?
Best regards and thanks in advance Matthias.
