I just found out when it stops.
In the setuplog i get a message that durring applying security setting
an unrecoverable error occured.

Please someone gives me a solution.

After two days running the setup it passed the 34 minutes but now it
hangs again at supplying netwotk settings sice yesterday morning

I assume that you are trying to do a clean install and not a repair
install.

Basically this means that some piece of hardware is creating problems.
The solution is to strip the computer down to just the essentials -
video card, no sound card (if not onboard), RAM, one hard drive, one
optical drive, no network card (if not onboard), no peripherals. Then
try the install.

To get out of the installation loop, boot with a utility that can delete
the partitions and format the drive. This can be a Win98 boot disk (if
you have a floppy drive) or Acronis Disk Director, Partition Magic,
etc. Then boot with the XP cd to do your clean install.

If the install fails again on a stripped-down machine, then one or more
of your hardware components is faulty. This can be RAM, hard drive, or
the motherboard.
